CRI > 90 // A new generation of LED light
The energy saving and long lasting LED lamps with CRI > 90 create a more natural light due to an improved light quality. Based on an updated LED technology colors are reflected livelier and more realistic.Definition of CRI (color rendering index)
The CRI provides information about the light quality by describing the accuracy of color reflection. In other words, the CRI says how natural colors of an illuminated object appear in the light of the lamp.
LEDs create different light colors
The days are gone in which LED-bulbs have created a cold light effect.
The light color (or color temperature) is declared in Kelvin (K). Low color temperatures up to 3300K generate a warm-white light whereas higher light temperatures create a colder light. A color temperature between 3300K and 5300K is called cold white light, everything above 5300K is defined as daylight.
The majority of MÜLLER-LICHT LED bulbs create a warm-white light with a color temperature of 2700K (bulb and candle form) or 3000K (reflectors). Thus, they are particularly suitable for using in living area.
Energy saving LED light
LED-bulbs are sustained because they usually save more than 80% energy compared to a normal bulb with the same light output.
With every single bulb that is replaced by a LED-bulb you immediately save energy and more important you save a particular amount of your electricity costs.
Long lifetime
LED-bulbs have a long lifetime and they are very robust. The average lifetime of a LED-bulb can be up to 25 times longer than a normal bulb which has an average lifetime of about 1.000 hours (about 1 year*).In comparison LED bulbs from MÜLLER-LICHT have a lifetime of about 25.000 hours (about 25 years*). As a result, you don’t have to replace bulbs that often, you avoid waste and you save energy and money in the long term.
*based on an average burning time of 2,7h per day.
Lumen and Wattage
Speaking about energy consumption of bulbs lumen and wattage are important characteristics. Simply said: A LED-bulb consumes less energy (wattage) for creating the same light output (lumen) as for instance a normal bulb. One example: A LED-bulb consumes 3W for generating 250 lumen whereas a normal bulb needs 25W (8 times more energy) in order to create the same light output of 250 lumen.
No mercury
LED-bulbs from MÜLLER-LICHT are environmental friendly, completely mercury-free and recyclable. Please do not throw them into normal household rubbish. You can recycle them for free at all recycling stations you know.
